The Supreme People's Court will carry out judicial inspections in an effort to move towards "effectively solving the difficulty of enforcement"

Beijing, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- The Supreme People's Court held a press conference on August 22 to introduce the implementation of the "Opinions on Strengthening Comprehensive Governance to Effectively Solve the Problem of Difficult Enforcement from the Source" issued by the Central Committee for Comprehensive Law-based Governance.

In July 2019, the Central Committee for Comprehensive Law-based Governance issued the "Opinions on Strengthening Comprehensive Governance to Effectively Solve the Problem of Difficult Enforcement from the Source", which pointed out the direction for the enforcement work in the current and future periods and held a milestone significance for the enforcement work of the people's courts. To consolidate the achievements and establish a long-term mechanism, the People's courts will promote the upgrade of enforcement informatization to intelligence, enhance the intelligence level of the investigation and control system, and improve the "1+2+N" enforcement informatization system. Actively promote the accelerated construction of the social credit system and build a smart enforcement model through credit profiling. We will continue to deepen the reform of the enforcement work system and mechanism, improve the construction of the enforcement linkage mechanism, and constantly explore new models of team-based case handling in enforcement.

It is reported that the Supreme People's Court will, through judicial inspections, focus on the implementation of the "Opinions" by courts at all levels, promptly notify and intensify accountability. Courts at all levels should strengthen supervision and inspection of the implementation of the "Opinions", intensify assessment and accountability efforts, continuously enhance comprehensive and source governance, constantly improve the capacity and level of enforcement work, effectively promote the improvement of the business environment, and strive to move towards "effectively solving the difficulty of enforcement".
