The World Bar Congress will be held in Guangzhou at the end of the year

Beijing, August 27th (Legal Daily) - Reporter Jiang Anjie learned from a press conference held by the All China Lawyers Association today that the World Lawyers Conference, guided by the Ministry of Justice and hosted by the All China Lawyers Association, will be held in Guangzhou from December 9th to 10th this year. This is the first large-scale international lawyer exchange event hosted by the All-China Lawyers Association in the 40 years since the restoration and reconstruction of the Chinese lawyer system.

It is learned that the theme of this conference is "Technological Progress and Legal Services", and six sub-forum topics have been set up, namely "The Belt and Road Initiative and Legal Services", International Trade and Compliance, Cross-border Investment and Mergers and Acquisitions, International Commercial Dispute Resolution, Technology and Legal Services, and Lawyers' Public Welfare Legal Services and Social Responsibility. It is expected that 600 lawyers, senior officials from judicial departments, experts and scholars from China and relevant countries will attend the conference and engage in dialogue on the topics.

According to the notice, the preparations for the World Bar Congress are being carried out in an orderly and intense manner. Currently, several international bar organizations and bar associations have confirmed their participation or expressed their willingness to attend. Meanwhile, the official website of the conference will be officially launched from now on, accepting registrations from lawyers both at home and abroad.
